The Tria Laser 4X will lock when it’s not in use. To unlock the Tria Laser 4X, use the Skin Sensor on the bottom of the unit, which helps confirm that the Tria laser is safe for your skin tone.
The Tria Laser 4X has different energy levels. In a clinical study, higher levels were found to be 2-3 times more efficient.
So for best results, we recommend you use the highest setting that you can tolerate.
When the Tria Laser 4x is on and unlocked, press the power button to select your desired level. Each time you press the power button, the level will increase. Once the Tria Laser 4x is at the maximum level, pressing the power button again will return it to the lowest level.
Cleanse, shave and thoroughly towel-dry skin.
Apply a thin layer of Smoothstart Calming Gel to help keep theskin calm and comfortable.
Turn on the Laser, unlock it and set the treatment level (see above)
Touch and hold the treatment window to the skin until you hear two beeps.
Lift the Laser and place it back on the skin so that it overlaps the previous spot.
DO NOT treat repeatedly in the same spot. Always move the treatment window to a new area after each laser pulse. Failure to do so may result in discomfort or skin heating, which could cause skin injury.
Keep going until you have completely covered the area you want to treat.
Use the tria Laser 4X Pulse Counter to help get the best results. See the table as a guide to how many pulses you may need to cover each area per treatment. These pulse counts and times are approximations – your actual treatment area and number of pulses may vary. Always follow the treatment instructions and warnings provided in your handbook.
Note: When treating larger areas like legs and back, you may need more than 600 pulses to cover the area using an overlapping pattern. If so please recharge the Tria Laser 4X and continue treating until you’ve covered the desired treatment area.
Turn off the Laser 4X by holding down the power button.
Repeat treatment every 2 weeks for up to 3 months or until you reach the desired results.
Note: The cooling fan may go on and off during your treatment. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
